Sofia Carmina Coppola (born May 14, 1971 in New York City, New York) is an American film director, actress, producer, and writer. She is the girl of Italian-American director Francis Ford Coppola and Eleanor Coppola, who is of Anglo-Saxon descent. She was married to director Spike Jonze on June 26, 1999 but the marriage ended around divorcement in December 9, 2003. She is niece to Oscar-nominated actress, Talia Shire.

Career
